Your Clubhouse App profile bio is so important. But wait if you don’t know what Clubhouse App is then you need to read this. Now if you’re looking for more, let’s start at optimizing your clubhouse app profile bio correctly!

And if you’re using the Clubhouse App for business, you need to make the most impactful first impression.

Here are 6 steps to set up your Clubhouse App Profile Bio.

When writing your Clubhouse App profile bio, don’t overthink it.  Keep it simple!  Keep it extremely understandable.  How would you explain what you do to a kindergarten class on career day? That’s exactly how simple you should make it.

You’ll want to make sure you address these 6 key points: what, why, who, contact info, & lead magnet, and call-to-action.

1. CLUBHOUSE APP PROFILE BIO: WHAT

The most important line in the bio is what you do.  Similar to writing a professional bio, you’ll need to describe succinctly what you do.  Don’t go off using wordy jargon such as purveyors of lost sentiments.  Go for, I take family items and turn them into heirlooms for you to keep, instead of the wordiness. Simply state your audience and how you teach them, help them, or what you do for them.

2. CLUBHOUSE APP PROFILE BIO: WHY

A la Simon Sinek, the next line is your why.  WHY do you do WHAT you do?  Why does it matter you may ask.  Clubhouse users want to follow accounts that will offer either knowledge or resonance.  You have to have a why.  Otherwise, posting for the sake of using the platform will not convert anyone into sales for your business.  Ultimately, the reason why you are on Clubhouse App is to use it as a lead generator.  Why should they follow you? In the marketing world, we call this your Unique Value Proposition.

3. CLUBHOUSE APP PROFILE BIO: WHO

One thing I’ve learned as a marketer, marketing other businesses, and coaching entrepreneurs is that you are NOT for EVERYONE.  Yes, that’s right people.  You are only for one person.  Joel Malm, a personal development coach, was at my church talking about social media for your business.  He shared how we need to define our target audience.  How many authors have a hard time selling their books because they make the book about them instead of about that one person?  He shared that by writing his book Fully You (this book links to my amazon affiliate link), to a 53-year-old man (client) he found that so many people were able to relate to the book.

Who is the one person you are on a quest to help.  Make that person your audience and watch how stating this in your bio will help increase your followers.  These new followers will be your ideal audience.

4. CLUBHOUSE APP PROFILE BIO: CONTACT INFO

Although unlimited character use is allowed on the Clubhouse App Profile Bio, make sure to be quick and don’t go on and on without allowing the users to get your contact info easily. Go ahead and add your website link and don’t forget to link your Twitter and Instagram accounts so that Clubhouse users can find all your contact info in one place.

Likewise, don’t forget to add your location especially if your business relies on local community growth.  People feel more comfortable if they know where you are from rather than hiding your location.  No one trusts someone they can’t find off social media.  If you are trying to build a following in your area, listing your location makes it easier for the local community to follow you.

5. CLUBHOUSE APP PROFILE BIO: LEAD MAGNET

Finally, add a call to action that captures your audience.  I always list my lead magnets first in my Clubhouse App profile bio right after my value proposition statement.  Links are not hyperlink-able but they do actually work.  I’ve had people subscribe to my lead magnets since adding them to my bio.

6. CLUBHOUSE APP PROFILE BIO: CALLS-TO-ACTION (CTAs)

Apart from lead magnets, make sure to not just place the link in the bio but entice the users with a call-to-action.  Calls-to-action can range from;

  • Download the free…
  • DM me on Instagram…
  • Follow me for more gems…
  • Join my club…
  • Grab the bundle…

and many more other CTAs. For more on calls-to-action check out this post:

Remember that you only have a limited amount of characters for your Instagram bio.  Make it short and sweet.  By now, your bio should be able to state what you do, why you do it, for who you do it, how to contact you, and where to get more from you.  If you follow these 5 steps you’ll have a high converting Clubhouse App profile bio!
