Simply state your audience and how you teach them, help them, or what you do for them.

A la Simon Sinek, the next line is your why.  WHY do you do WHAT you do?  Why does it matter you may ask.  Clubhouse users want to follow accounts that will offer either knowledge or resonance.  You have to have a why.  Otherwise, posting for the sake of using the platform will not convert anyone into sales for your business.  Ultimately, the reason why you are on Clubhouse App is to use it as a lead generator.  Why should they follow you? In the marketing world, we call this your Unique Value Proposition.

One thing I’ve learned as a marketer, marketing other businesses, and coaching entrepreneurs is that you are NOT for EVERYONE.  Yes, that’s right people.  You are only for one person.  Joel Malm, a personal development coach, was at my church talking about social media for your business.  He shared how we need to define our target audience.  How many authors have a hard time selling their books because they make the book about them instead of about that one person?  He shared that by writing his book Fully You (this book links to my amazon affiliate link), to a 53-year-old man (client) he found that so many people were able to relate to the book.  

Who is the one person you are on a quest to help.  Make that person your audience and watch how stating this in your bio will help increase your followers.  These new followers will be your ideal audience.

4. CLUBHOUSE APP PROFILE BIO: CONTACT INFO

Although unlimited character use is allowed on the Clubhouse App Profile Bio, make sure to be quick and don’t go on and on without allowing the users to get your contact info easily. Go ahead and add your website link and don’t forget to link your Twitter and Instagram accounts so that Clubhouse users can find all your contact info in one place.

Likewise, don’t forget to add your location especially if your business relies on local community growth.  People feel more comfortable if they know where you are from rather than hiding your location.  No one trusts someone they can’t find off social media.  If you are trying to build a following in your area, listing your location makes it easier for the local community to follow you.

Finally, add a call to action that captures your audience.  I always list my lead magnets first in my Clubhouse App profile bio right after my value proposition statement.  Links are not hyperlink-able but they do actually work.  I’ve had people subscribe to my lead magnets since adding them to my bio.
